Big hats girls brunch
I'm planning a bday brunch with my girls. The theme I'm goin for is "big hats and cocktail dresses." so I'm looking for a brunch spot that's trendy and young but not clubby. Preferably outdoors or rooftop. Any ideas?

Re: Big hats girls brunch
That sounds like so much fun. Here is a list of some places that come to mind:
David Burke Kitchen in SoHo. The patio and cabana seating immediately came to mind. We have a few photos listed here on the site. I would request the table near the back of the patio and bar. It's covered and fits approx 10 people. Bobo in the West Village is located inside a renovated townhouse and the second floor is decorated with a very swanky atmosphere (unique trinkets abound, green walls, wood panelling, chandeliers) which is the reason to go. The menu and food preparation needs work.....Additionally, there is a garden in the back. It's cute and the floors and walls are made out of whitewashed wood, making for a really nice spring-time group setting. Hundred Acres There are three different sections to sit in. I can totally see your group around one of the round tables in the back room - it has an "outdoors-ie" feel although it is inside. The Dutch Trendy? Check. Young? Check. Cool? Check. Good? Yes ma'am. Upstairs at the Kimberly matches your query for a trendy and young spot, and it's always nice to be many floors above ground for a view. Hope this helps. They will all take reservations for large groups. Definitely keep us posted and feel free to send in any photos the day of. I'm sure your group will look awesome. Happy Birthday! |
